Meet Our Physicians

Dr. Matthew Cameron Rumsey grew up in Pawhuska, OK and graduated from Pawhuska High School in 2003.Ā He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.Ā Dr. Rumsey started medical school at The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and completed his final two clinic years at Sanford School of Medicine at The University of South Dakota in 2011.Ā He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at The University of Missouri-Columbia in 2014.Ā In the past, he has worked for the Cherokee Nation as a staff physician and served as Medical Director for the Osage Nation Health Center for two years.Ā Dr. Rumsey has been a Pawhuska Hospital Board member since 2016, is the current Chief of Staff for Pawhuska Hospital Inc., and serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Cohesive Healthcare.Ā Dr. Rumsey enjoys working with rural health systems and strives to improve the level of healthcare in rural communities.

Dr. Brandi Malaske, DC – Brandi was born and raised in Osage County, graduating from Hominy High. She went to NSU and furthered her education by attending Cleveland Chiropractic College. She graduated in 2014 and began her career as Dr. Brandi Wilcox-Malaske, DC. Help us welcome her into the community with open arms. Call to schedule an appointment now!

Heather Brandwein, APRN – graduated from Morris High School before obtaining her nursing degree from Oklahoma State Institute of Technology in 2010. She worked as an RN at Saint Francis Main Hospital for 7 years. While working she obtained her bachelorās degree from Northern State University and her masterās as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in 2018. Heather lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she enjoys basketball, Chiefās football, cooking, and her two Golden Retrievers, Moose and Millie.

Jessica Cartwright, APRN –Ā Jessica was born and raised in Tulsa, Ok. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School and then attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater for her undergraduate program.Ā She then graduated from Langston University with her Bachelorās Degree in Nursing. She has been in the nursing field for 8 years with a significant background in cardiology from CVICU to cath lab. While working she obtained her Masterās degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University in 2020. Jessica lives in Tulsa with her husband and children. She enjoys warm weather, exercising, traveling and anything that gets her outside and active.
