Pawhuska Hospital traces its history back to 1923, when we opened our initial location on Lynn Avenue between 18th and 19th street. Originally opened as a municipal hospital, our staff included a superintendent of nurses and small nursing staff. After World War II the number of patients served by the hospital rapidly increased.
The hospital’s 25 patient beds are utilized for acute care and swing bed patients. Currently, we have 3 emergency beds including a trauma room. We continue to expand the services offered to Pawhuska and surrounding communities, within 70 miles, and are in the planning phase for a new 25-bed facility to continue our growth.
Pawhuska Hospital, Inc. in partnership with its medical staff, employees, volunteers, and community is committed to being the healthcare provider of choice in how we:
