Speech Therapy

At Pawhuska Hospital, a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will assist with the prevention, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of communication, swallowing, and related disorders of the oropharyngeal mechanism, which can result from a variety of diseases and events. For many adults, speech therapy is a key component of treatment known to improve swallowing and feeding safety, communication, and quality of life.

After evaluating a patient’s speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing, our experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist will develop a personalized therapy program using best evidenced-based practices.
